From Our House to Yours
Every December I love to look back through my yearly planner and review the year. Add in a skimming review of my devotional journal and I have a fairly good picture of the year. And my, oh my, what a year! Little did I know when I chose my word of the year, "JOY", how meaningful and how HARD it would be to remain in a place of joy. My verse of the year : Habakkuk 3:17-19, "Though the fig tree does not bud and there is no fruit on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, YET I will rejoice in the Lord; I will be joyful in the God of my salvation. Yahweh, my LORD is my strength; He makes my feet like those of a deer and enable me to walk on mountain heights!"
